My first oekaki Insomnia strip and the first one that I've ever gotten around to actually posting anywhere! Joy! Erm..yeah. This is actualy a slightly-true event too.
I rented Resident Evil: Code: Veronica X the other day and to my horror...it didn't come with an instruction manual. But I didn't care, I mean, it took forever just to figure out we needed to use the OTHER controller to make it work....
So there I was...Standing about in the cell...wait..no. Scratch that. I was DANCING about the cell and the little room attempting to figure out just how to move Claire. I'm sure that the dying guy wasn't too happy about me dancing about instead of going to get him some medicine to make him all better. I eventually got the hang of it *those controls are so different from something like Kingdom Hearts o_O* and I managed to find the knife. Yay! I was all like "AHA! A WEAPON! Look out zombies! I Claire's gotta knife!"
Oh, but little did I know how horrible things would turn out...
I get out into the cematary thing and BAM! There's four zombies on me and one flaming one and they're CHEWING ON MEEEE! So there I was, hopping up and down frantically, pushing buttons at random screaming "I CAN'T MOVE MY ARMS! I CAN'T MOVE MY ARMS!" as Claire became zombie meats...-_-' Alas...needless to say...I died...
Of course, it had to tell me this too...just in case I was stupid.
It was like "YOU DIED" and I'm like "No, really? I thought I just layed down to take a nap!" >_< I still don't see how anyone could possibly beat that game...I'll figure it out eventually...of course...there's a second part to this too...which I'll explain later in the NEXT comic-thing of doom.
Media:
Oekaki
Notes: The full title is 'Resident Evil Blues (part one): I CAN'T MOVE MY ARMS!'
And if the red print comes out too fuzzy, it says "Daft forgets to read the instructions before playing Resident Evil: Code Veronica X"
PPFT.. Who needs instructions? Eventually you'll figure it out, or you'll throw your game system across the room. Anyway, I really thought this picture was funny and really well drawn. Great Job! Hope to see more work from you.

Ah you guys are all amatures, the rocket launcher blows them up. Yet you have to play the game all the way through first, sooooo this info is kinda pointless. Still funny.

Yup yup... couldn't figure out what to do in the beginning, but at least I knew how to walk around and stuff, Resident Evil gamer as I am.

I presume you're playing on a ps2, so:
R1 to raise weapon, then X to attack
I recommend running away from the first zombies in the beginning though since you get a handgun in the next area ^^

That part of the game always makes me squirm because I suck at knifing and dodging things.
